This world has such a stench to it... it's a wonder any of you can breathe.

In the interest of making this place more tolerable, where would one be able to acquire roses? I wish to start a garden.

Or are we incapable of having even that meager luxury?

The thorns are especially nice, yes. To be so beautiful yet so dangerous makes it valuable to me.

I would hardly call a tiny pinprick "dangerous." Painful, perhaps, to those with thin skin.

You've never pushed someone's head into a bed of roses?

Why would I ever want to soil my dear roses with someone else's horrid countenance?

The smell of freshly spilled blood is worth it.

That is a smell that I do not relish. I find it quite revolting, actually.

The idea that someone would ruin perfectly good tea by adding something so ghastly is absolutely appalling. No, that is one aspect of my heritage that I will not indulge in.

What a shame. I suppose I will keep the normal tea set aside for yourself.

I do and I've been drinking it for as long as I can remember.

That's all she has had.

She seemed to enjoy my wholly bloodless tea well enough.

Or perhaps she simply found it more tasteful.

I would never dream of it. I was merely postulating a theory based on what I had observed. Is there something wrong with that?

Yes, there is. We all know you cannot make rational decisions without seeing both sides of the issue.

And we should all know that theories and hypotheses are far from decisions and conclusions. Or are you not familiar with the scientific method?
