I suppose our captors believe they have quite the sense of humor, what with these miserable costumes.

Hmph. I refuse to allow them the satisfaction of spoiling my birthday.

[Action]

*Rachel is wandering somewhere through the village, perhaps in search of tea. Why does she look pissed off? Why, because she's dressed as another vampire loli, and being clad in Remilia's outfit any longer than she needs to be is rather infuriating.*

Unfortunately, you're stuck with it. Just like most of the rest of the village. But I'm sure you've found that out already.

[Giles...really does try not to laugh.]

Anyone here could have told you that. I certainly could have.

Well, it won't be forever.

Might make fighting with her problematic, though. Was it just your dress that could do the whole bit with turning into blades, or was that you?

It's October, the place is covered in jack o' lanterns, and half the town is being forced to wear silly costumes.

Yes, I think this will last until Halloween. What's the point, otherwise?

Ends on Halloween, or ends with the tacky decorations?

One, unfortunately, is more likely than the other.

You probably shouldn't be.

Still. Could be worse. I met someone stuck in a full body cat suit.

Yes. I suppose at least then you'd have the chance of no one recognizing you at all.

It's not exactly hard to imagine anyone in such a garment. That's sort of the point, isn't it?

Honestly, at the least they could have given us masks.

Ah, yes, of course. How on Earth could I forget?

As if we needed further reminders.

Still. With all of this, maybe they'll skip the ball on Halloween.

Or far too little. A good bit of the village has been staying out of sight, but from what I've heard they'll happily solve that problem with the droids.

[Yeah, neither does Giles] Actually, someone has suggested we start a bonfire with the costumes once we're allowed to take them off.
