✿3 [Action]
Sep. 8th, 2010 07:57 pm*It's late dusk, and there is a certain young-looking gothic lolita sitting at a table outside of Building 6, slowly sipping a cup of tea and flipping through a book.
If you pass by, you may get the very distinct sense that she is horribly judging you.*
(ooc: Geez, lots of people! And they probably all hate Rachel now. I'm going to bed, will resume tagging tomorrow!)

Date: 2010-09-09 04:30 am (UTC)For the time being, it is something different than the monotony at home.

Date: 2010-09-09 05:55 pm (UTC)Rachel Alucard. And yours?

Date: 2010-09-09 06:17 pm (UTC)I am Bernkastel. A resident of this building.

...What brew is it?

Date: 2010-09-10 01:06 am (UTC)*She looks down at the tea* One with which I am unfamiliar. It was brewed by someone who has spent much longer in this world than I.

Date: 2010-09-10 01:19 am (UTC)The sharing of different universes seems to be one of the few positives of this fragment. It is still outweighed by all the negatives unfortunately.
no subject
Date: 2010-09-10 02:13 am (UTC)...so I understand it. And what are the negatives, in your mind?
no subject
Date: 2010-09-10 04:56 am (UTC)For one thing, this fragment can either be incredibly lively or incredibly dull at times. It's like rolling a dice - you either win or get snake eyes. The in-between exists but even that can prove to be a worthless endeavor if not handled correctly. Being trapped here like a bird in a cage is also rather irritating and many powers are cut in half in terms of strength.

Date: 2010-09-10 05:10 am (UTC)Though the idea that we are meant to be experiments is an... unpleasant one.

Date: 2010-09-10 05:16 am (UTC)It's more degrading than anything. At least they have enough courtesy to have the markings they put on us in an unnoticeable spot.
no subject
Date: 2010-09-10 06:29 pm (UTC)Small courtesy indeed.

Date: 2010-09-10 10:17 pm (UTC)I must disagree with you Rachel. I have seen certain plays more than once and I find it to be different every time. No two performances of the same play are ever exactly alike. It just depends on who the director is. The audience of observers must just watch without interrupting, but can leave at any time if they wish.
no subject
Date: 2010-09-10 11:11 pm (UTC)It is impolite for an observer to leave before the end.
no subject
Date: 2010-09-12 02:43 am (UTC)I disagree. If something is boring and tedious to watch then you would only be patronizing the actors by staying. That is even more impolite.
no subject
Date: 2010-09-12 07:15 am (UTC)Perhaps there is nothing else worth viewing.
no subject
Date: 2010-09-12 01:28 pm (UTC)If that is so, then you are chained to the seat you sit on.
no subject
Date: 2010-09-12 06:54 pm (UTC)In what way does an absence of other entertainment imply chains?
no subject
Date: 2010-09-13 02:00 am (UTC)You refuse to leave, but you complain about what you're observing. So you are trapped by your own will.
no subject
Date: 2010-09-13 02:37 am (UTC)The role of an observer is to do precisely that.
no subject
Date: 2010-09-13 03:28 am (UTC)And you are satisfied with living in that cage?
no subject
Date: 2010-09-14 04:38 am (UTC)Is all the world a cage?
no subject
Date: 2010-09-14 04:41 am (UTC)Only to those who cannot leave their boundaries and cross into the sea.
